Giving Students the Right to Choose Not to Dissect

Goals of the Campaign:

• Educate students and faculty about alternatives to dissection
• Educate students and faculty about the inhumane aspects of the dissection industry
• Work with professors and administrators to provide students with real educational options, such as animal models and the latest computer software
• Work with professors to integrate alternatives into their classes
• Provide students who choose not to dissect with examination consistent with their method of learning

• Tell us about your UW dissection experiences
• Opt out of doing lab dissection - email us for help or contact the lab coordinator
• Talk to your professors about what alternatives they offer --- tell them you support student choice!
